Physically, i am about 172 cm (5' 7 1/2 (very important that half), short fairish hair (well,.... um ... in places the shortness is due to circumstances beyond my control, but, hey, who wants to waste male hormones growing hair??),
short full face beard, just the soft side of designer stubble, average build (about 82 kgs) but broad shouldered, body hair but not ape like,... yada yada yada.
I wouldn't say I am an extrovert, as in the life and soul of a big party of strangers, but with company i know and like am quite outgoing. I am a gentle and affectionate person, sensual even i would like to think. I have a leaning towards the leftish side of politics and liberal / leftish on social and environmental issues. I have 1 , a 15 y.o. boy, lives with his mum but i see him often. I work as an IT consultant / project manager, usually in the city. It's a lot more people-oriented job than you would think.
As far as pastimes go, in no particular order.... I like reading (science fiction, crime, spies occasionally something more highbrow), swimming (surf, beach or pool (probably in that order!)), nature, (short) walks in the bush (short ones!!), table tennis (rusty), good food and wine (especially red), at a restaurant, home meal or indoor or outdoor picnic - all are nice!. does chocolate count as a pastime?? I've travelled a lot, mainly the US and Europe and Australia, and love going away to new places however close or far. I'm the sort of person who is much more inclined to go to a different place for example, than holiday in the same place every year, or have a holiday house, etc. And more inclined to get out and about than stay in 5 star hotels. Not that the occasional champagne, candles, spas and luxury doesn't appeal! I'm interested in science, especially astronomy and
cosmology. I follow the footy and cricket, keenly but not obsessively. I enjoy my work, but am not especially ambitious in that regard, not in a corporate ladder sense, although i do like to keep professionally challenged.
I like having chats about current affairs, issues, etc. I have rarely been know NOT to have an opinion on something, though I can usually see both sides to a question (I don't always show that though in the heat of intellectual jousting!!).
